Overnight Oats.

I love my Oats. I love them piping hot served with berries and a dash of cold almond milk. I never tire of the same breakfast each and every morning. They’re my absolute favourite! 

However I do struggle lately to fit them in to my morning Bootcamp, school run and work routine. It’s also so damn hot these days in QLD that I have found a new motivation to play around with a few different variations of overnight soaked refrigerator oats. They’re so cool and fresh on hot mornings and so convenient as I make them in upcycled glass jars -just grab and go! I have two favourites: Banana Peanut Butter Oats and Blueberry Almond Oats.

Recipes below;

 

1/2 cup of rolled oats.

1 cup of almond milk.

1 tablespoon of chia seeds.

1 serve of your favourite fruit and nuts/seeds. 

Simply mix together and store over night in the fridge! Easy!

In the two pictures above I have used;

1 banana and 2 teaspoons of peanut butter blended together. OR

1 cup of frozen blueberries mixed with chopped nuts.

 

The opportunities are endless! And delicious.
